Women’s Tennis Collects Six All-CC Honors, as Jolie Zink Earns Rookie of the Year Recognition

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Following a 2026 spring campaign that saw the Fords reach the Centennial Conference Championship match for just the second time in program history, the Haverford College women's tennis team earned six spots on the All-Centennial Conference teams, highlighted by first-year Jolie Zink being named the Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year, the conference office announced in its annual postseason awards release on Thursday afternoon.

Zink earned All-Centennial Conference First Team honors in both singles and doubles competition, teaming alongside fellow first-year Aarti Prochnow on the doubles side. Prochnow also garnered All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention accolades in singles play, while first-year Adelaide Kreutel secured a spot on the All-Centennial Conference Second Team in singles. Kreutel additionally teamed with senior Abhi Menon to earn All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention doubles recognition. First-year Sophie Capone rounded out the postseason honors for the Fords with a selection to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team.

Competing exclusively at the No. 1 singles position throughout the spring campaign, Zink posted a 9-8 overall dual-match record while battling against the region's top competition. The first-year standout added a 3-2 mark in Centennial Conference action and picked up a ranked victory during the spring slate, defeating 12th-ranked Ginevra Muratori of Skidmore, while also finishing with a 1-1 mark against nationally ranked opponents. Zink opened her Centennial Conference season with an impressive straight-set victory over Gabby Mazzeo of Gettysburg on March 28 before later collecting key conference victories against Dickinson and Franklin & Marshall. She also earned another singles win over the Diplomats in the Centennial Conference Semifinals on April 30. The rookie showcased her ability on the biggest stages throughout the season, competing exclusively at the top singles flight for the Fords.

In doubles competition, Zink paired with Prochnow at the No. 1 doubles position, where the rookie duo compiled a 5-5 overall record and a 3-1 mark in conference play. The pairing earned key conference victories over Gettysburg and Dickinson before defeating Franklin & Marshall in the Centennial Conference Semifinals on April 30, while consistently occupying the top doubles spot in the lineup throughout the spring season.

Prochnow added an Honorable Mention singles selection after competing primarily at the No. 2 singles position following a No. 47 ranking in the ITA National Singles Rankings during the fall campaign. The first-year posted a 6-9 overall record in singles play while going 2-2 in conference action. She earned six victories at the second singles flight, including conference triumphs against Franklin & Marshall on April 3 and Dickinson on April 10.

Kreutel delivered a breakout rookie campaign in singles competition, earning Second Team All-Centennial Conference recognition after compiling an 11-7 overall record during dual-match play. Splitting time between the No. 2 and No. 3 singles positions, the first-year was especially dominant in conference action, posting a perfect 6-0 record against Centennial Conference opponents. Kreutel finished the season on a three-match winning streak with victories over No. 5 Johns Hopkins' Sahana Sanjeev on April 25 and Franklin & Marshall's Sahara Ahmad in the Centennial Conference Semifinals on April 30. She also went 7-2 across her final nine completed matches of the season.

In doubles play, Kreutel teamed with Menon to earn Honorable Mention recognition after the duo posted a 7-5 overall record and a 4-1 mark in conference competition. The pairing excelled primarily at the No. 2 doubles position, where they went 5-3 during the dual season. Kreutel and Menon closed the year with victories in six of their final 10 matches together, including two wins over No. 16 Swarthmore, one of which came during the Centennial Conference Championship match on May 2, while consistently providing key doubles victories for the Fords throughout conference play.

Menon finished the spring season with a team-best 10 doubles victories while adding six singles wins during dual-match competition. The senior captain posted a 5-1 conference doubles record and also contributed a 4-2 mark in Centennial Conference singles action while competing throughout the middle of the lineup. In addition to her All-Conference recognition, Menon's leadership and sportsmanship throughout the season were instrumental to the Fords' success.

Capone earned a spot on the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team following a strong first collegiate season. The rookie collected seven singles victories and six doubles victories during dual-match play, including wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions against Muhlenberg on April 10 and Ursinus on April 15, while competing throughout multiple spots in both the singles and doubles lineups.

Zink was joined among the conference's major award winners by Swarthmore's Lola Diaz, who earned Centennial Conference Player of the Year honors, while the Garnet coaching staff was named Coaching Staff of the Year.
