HAVERFORD, Pa. - Abhi Menon of the Haverford College women's tennis team earned a spot on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team, as announced in a postseason release earlier in the week.

To be eligible for the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® award, a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, must be in the lineup for 70 percent of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores, and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.

Menon, hailing from Manalapan, N.J., wrapped up a strong senior campaign as a steady presence in both singles and doubles play for the Fords. In singles, Menon posted a 6-10 overall record while going 4-2 in Centennial Conference action, competing primarily at the fourth and sixth singles positions. The senior captain collected conference victories over No. 40 Skidmore, Gettysburg, Franklin & Marshall, Dickinson, Bryn Mawr, and Franklin & Marshall again in the Centennial Conference Semifinals, helping the Fords reach the Centennial Conference Final for just the second time in program history.

Menon also led Haverford with 10 doubles victories, finishing 10-9 overall and 5-1 in Centennial Conference play. She was especially strong alongside first-year Addy Kreutel, with the duo posting a 7-5 overall record and a 4-1 mark against conference opponents while earning All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention doubles recognition. The pair collected key wins over No. 40 Skidmore, No. 15 Tufts, and No. 16 Swarthmore twice, including in in the Centennial Conference Final.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
