HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College baseball team has once again earned the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon.

The award recognizes ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year. Haverford was among more than 800 high school and collegiate programs nationwide to receive the distinction.

This year's honorees included nearly 500 college programs and more than 320 high school programs. Following the conclusion of the spring semester, coaches were invited to nominate their teams for the award before the July 17 deadline.

The American Baseball Coaches Association has a long tradition of recognizing the accomplishments of baseball coaches and student-athletes. Established in 1949, the ABCA/Rawlings All-America Teams are the nation's oldest baseball All-America program. The ABCA awards program also includes the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Awards, the ABCA/ATEC Regional and National Coaches of the Year, the ABCA Hall of Fame and the Dave Keilitz Ethics in Coaching Award.
