HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford College baseball standout sophomore infielder Miles Prusek has been named to the 2026 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) NCAA Division III Region V All-Defensive Team at third base, the organization announced in a release Thursday. The regional All-Defensive teams are voted on by members of the ABCA, with the selection process led by the ABCA NCAA Division III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.
The Richmond, Va. native was a cornerstone for the Fords all spring, anchoring the hot corner with a steady glove. Defensively, Prusek locked down third base and maintained a .928 fielding percentage throughout the 2026 campaign, starting all 36 games for the Fords while recording just five errors, including just two in the final 32 games of the season and one in Centennial Conference play.
Beyond his defensive prowess, Prusek emerged as one of the region's most complete offensive players in 2026. He led Haverford in hits (53) and tied for the team lead in runs scored (36), while also pacing the Fords in doubles with 14. Prusek finished second on the roster in home runs (8), RBI (39), batting average (.379), and OPS (1.158), providing steady middle-of-the-order production throughout the season.
Among Centennial Conference hitters, Prusek ranked ninth in both slugging percentage (.679) and doubles, solidifying himself as one of Haverford's most reliable offensive contributors.
The sophomore delivered several clutch performances throughout the spring, including a five-RBI outing against Dickinson on April 26. He also recorded five three-hit games, highlighted by a three-hit, four-RBI performance against Washington College on April 18.
Prusek is joined on the squad by catcher Matt Luchovick of Messiah, first baseman Luke Meehan of Eastern, second baseman Matthew Gannon of Scranton, shortstop David Wooley of Elizabethtown, outfielders Joseph Frei (Centenary), Trent MacDougall (Eastern), and Shane Daly (McDaniel), and pitcher Ryan Anderson of Johns Hopkins)
