Men’s Track & Field Takes Home USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

NEW ORLEANS – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its annual academic awards on Monday afternoon, with the Haverford College men's track & field team earning recognition among the 2026 honorees.

The Fords recorded a 3.68 team GPA, tying for the 10th-highest mark among men's programs across all NCAA divisions. The 2026 campaign marks the 20th time in the past 21 seasons that Haverford has received the honor since the USTFCCCA combined its indoor and outdoor awards.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic Team distinction, a program must have a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester or quarter.

Five Scarlet and Black student-athletes also earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors: Thomas Fendig, Reef Kirchner, Micah Lachman, Jory Lee, and Simon Lane.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field honors, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 and qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor or Outdoor Championships, finished the indoor or outdoor regular season ranked among the nation's top 50 in an individual event, or ranked among the top 35 in a relay event on the official NCAA performance list provided by TFRRS.org.
