Samuel Lin Earns First Team Nod to Headline Men's Track & Field All-CC Selections

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's track & field team was well represented on the 2026 Centennial Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field All-Conference teams, highlighted by a conference title from Samuel Lin in the 110-meter hurdles.

Lin earned First-Team All-Centennial honors after capturing the Centennial Conference title in 15.28, delivering Haverford's gold medal moment of the weekend.

First-year Simon Lane collected Second-team All-Centennial honors in the 1,500 meters after earning a silver medal, while senior Jory Lee added a pair of Second-team accolades in the jumps. Lee finished second in the long jump with a leap of 6.65 meters (21 feet, 10 inches) before taking silver in the triple jump at 13.96 meters (45 feet, 9.75 inches), matching Ravi Eaton '24 for the fourth-best mark in program history.

Haverford also earned three Honorable Mention All-Centennial selections. Thomas Fendig was recognized in the 400 meters after placing third in 49.36, Jason Mayo claimed bronze in the decathlon with 5,005 points — the fifth-best performance in program history — and junior Luke de Valpine took bronze in the 10,000 meters in 31:21.69 after previously winning indoor conference gold in the 5,000 meters earlier this year. In addition to the selections, senior Deven Abrams earned a spot on the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team.

Next up for the Haverford Men's Track & Field team is the Widener Final Qualifying Meet in Chester, Pa. on Monday, May 11, at 3 p.m.  This will be the last opportunity for the Fords to qualify athletes for the NCAA Championships, scheduled for May 21-23 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The top 20 athletes in individual events and the top 12 relay teams will be selected to compete at the NCAA Championships.
