STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Haverford College men's track & field team was well represented at the Fastrack National Invitational on Friday at the Ocean Breeze Complex, competing against a deep national field that included athletes from all three NCAA divisions and the NAIA.
Jory Lee delivered the Fords' top performance of the meet, finishing second overall in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 14.65 meters (48 feet, 0.75 inches), narrowly missing the school record. The mark is expected to move Lee up the NCAA leaderboard in Division III, where he had already ranked among the top 20 performers.
Lee also competed in the invitational long jump, placing 12th with a personal-best mark of 6.61 meters (21 feet, 8.25 inches), which preserved his eighth-best mark in program history.
