HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's soccer team has earned the 2025-26 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, the organization announced on Friday. The Fords posted an impressive 3.70 team grade point average during the academic year to earn the national recognition.

United Soccer Coaches recognized 777 collegiate soccer teams (326 men's, 451 women's) with the Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year after each posted a team grade point average of at least 3.0. Additionally, 175 institutions had both their men's and women's soccer programs earn the distinction, including Haverford.

To be eligible for the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, a program must achieve a composite team grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for all student-athletes listed on its official roster during the fall season.

The Fords will soon embark on a memorable preseason experience, traveling to Greece on August 9 for a week-long team trip before opening the 2026 campaign begins September 1 at home against Penn State Abington.
