HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's tennis team was recognized for its excellence in the classroom as 14 student-athletes were named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Scholar-Athletes. Additionally, the Fords received the ITA All-Academic Team Award, an honor the program has earned in every full season since 2001.
In 2026, 1,151 Division III men's tennis student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, while 147 programs received All-Academic Team distinction.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a grade-point average of at least 3.5 during the academic year. ITA All-Academic Team recognition is awarded to programs that maintain a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher during the academic year.
Haverford's 14 ITA Scholar-Athletes are Marko Arboleda, Teo Bortan, Caden Hsia, Owen Kilmer, Lucio Kombo, Chait Krishna, Aarush Kumar, Niki Lavu, Maxfield Ma, Zach Miano, Arnav Nemali, Alejandro Rodriguez, Robbie Vazquez and Noah Wolff.
The young Haverford squad, which reached the NCAA Tournament a season ago, concluded the 2026 campaign with a 10-13 record and advanced to its second consecutive Centennial Conference final. The Fords also earned five total spots on the All-Centennial Conference teams.
Lavu led the postseason honorees with first-team All-Centennial recognition in singles. Arboleda and Vazquez earned first-team honors in doubles, while Arboleda also received second-team recognition in singles alongside Bortan.
