No. 23 Women's Lacrosse Earns Third Consecutive NCAA Tournament Berth

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The No. 23 Haverford College women's lacrosse team has earned an at-large bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship, marking the program's eighth all-time appearance and continuation of a sustained run of national success.

The Fords (13-6) will face Endicott College (15-4), champions of the Conference of New England (CNE), in a first-round matchup at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 at Bello Field on the campus of Tufts University in Medford, Mass. The appearance is Haverford's third consecutive NCAA berth and fourth in the last five seasons, underscoring the program's consistency at the national level.

Haverford has reached historic heights this season as the squad advanced to the Centennial Conference Championship game for the first time in program history, hosting on Swan Field as the No. 1 seed on Sunday. The Fords fell 7-5 to second-seeded Franklin & Marshall.

Saturday's contest will mark the first-ever meeting between Haverford and Endicott. The Gulls secured their automatic bid with a 17-11 victory over Roger Williams in the CNE Championship.

The winner of the opening-round matchup will advance to face host and No. 4-ranked Tufts (14-3) in the second round at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Tufts enters the tournament following a 10-9 overtime setback to No. 3 Wesleyan in the NESCAC Semifinals. The Jumbos and Fords have met once previously, with Tufts narrowly edging Haverford, 11-10, during the 2011 season at Swan Field.

The 2026 NCAA appearance adds to a growing tournament history for Haverford, which previously qualified in 1986, 1987, 1988, 1991, 2022, 2024, 2025, and now 2026.

Fans can follow all the action throughout the weekend via live coverage.
