HAVERFORD, Pa. -Â Senior attacker Reid Tietjen (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) earned Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading Haverford to a 13-12 victory over rival Swarthmore on Saturday.
Tietjen powered the Fords' offense with five points on three goals and two assists, placing all four of his shots on target. The win marked Haverford's first victory over Swarthmore since 2018 as Haverford picked up a crucial point in the Hood Trophy rival series with the Garnet. Tietjen closes his collegiate career ranked sixth in program history with 192 career points and ninth all-time with 114 goals.
This is the second weekly honor for Tietjen, who was previously honored during his sophomore season in 2024, after guiding the Fords to their first win over Franklin & Marshall since 2013 with four goals, four ground balls and an assist.Â
