Women's Track & Field Publishes 2026 Schedule, Tabbed Fifth in the CC Preseason Poll

HAVERFORD, Pa. — The Haverford College women's track & field team has unveiled its 2026 outdoor schedule, featuring a competitive slate of meets across the region beginning on Saturday, March 21. The Fords were selected fifth in the Centennial Conference preseason poll, earning 51 total points, as announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.

Haverford opens the outdoor season at the West Chester Purple & Gold Invitational on Saturday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. in West Chester, Pa. The Fords then travel to Chester, Pa., for the Danny Curran Invitational, beginning Friday, March 27 at 5:00 p.m. and continuing on Saturday, March 28 at 10:00 a.m.

April competition kicks off at the Ursinus College Track & Field Festival in Collegeville, Pa., with events scheduled for Friday, April 3 at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 4 at 10:00 a.m. The Scarlet and Black return to West Chester for the Bill Butler Invitational on Friday, April 10 at 5:00 p.m., continuing Saturday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m.

The Fords will then compete at the Paul Donahue Invitational in Chester, Pa., on Friday, April 17 at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 a.m., before hosting their lone home meet of the season on Tuesday, April 21. Haverford will welcome teams to Johnson Track for the Haverford Tri-Meet, scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

Haverford will head to Philadelphia for the prestigious Penn Relays on Friday, April 24, before entering championship season at the Centennial Conference Championships, hosted by Gettysburg College from May 1–3. The Fords will then look to post qualifying marks at the Widener Final Qualifier on Monday, May 11 at 1:00 p.m.

The season will conclude at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for May 21–23 in La Crosse, Wis.

In the Centennial Conference preseason poll, Johns Hopkins tops the rankings with eight first-place votes and 80 total points. Ursinus follows in second with one first-place vote and 72 points, while Franklin & Marshall also collected a first-place vote to place third with 61 points. Dickinson checks in fourth with 59 points, and Haverford rounds out the top five with 51 points. Muhlenberg is sixth with 38 points, followed by Gettysburg in seventh with 35. Swarthmore takes eighth with 28 points, while McDaniel (14 points) and Bryn Mawr (12 points) round out the poll in ninth and tenth, respectively.

After finishing fifth in last year's Centennial Conference Championships, the Fords return USTFCCCA All-Metro Region selection Anastasia Jaycobs and All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention Olivia D'Aulerio. The duo will be joined by a Scarlet and Black squad coming off a strong indoor season that featured three All-Conference honors and five school records broken, including by first-years Taniya Denson and Lorelei Middleton. With momentum on their side, Haverford enters the 2026 spring season poised for another successful campaign.
