HAVERFORD, Pa. — The 30th-ranked Haverford men's squash team (5-13) concluded the 2025-26 regular season at home against No. 22 Hamilton (9-9) on the GIAC Squash Courts Saturday afternoon. Before the first serve, the program honored its two seniors, Aaryaman Jaising and Kai Schinaman.
When play began, Schinaman earned a win for Haverford on his Senior Day, defeating Joey Applebaum in the fourth flight. After dropping the first game 6-11, Schinaman bounced back 11-4, then fell 6-11 in the third game before closing out the match with consecutive 11-3 and 11-9 victories to secure Haverford's triumph.
At the first flight, Aaryaman Jaising fell to Jacob Shulman in straight games, 6-11, 8-11, 4-11, while Henry Jiang also came up short in the second flight, losing 11-13, 7-11, 7-11 to Atreyus Bhavsar. Ben Levy battled hard in the third flight but ultimately dropped a four-game decision to Tobey Suratt, 6-11, 9-11, 11-4, 6-11.
Jet Li pushed Jacob Li in the fifth flight, taking the second game before falling 3-11, 11-9, 2-11, 5-11, and Qianzhi Zhao fought in the sixth flight but was edged 9-11, 8-11, 11-9, 9-11 by Lucas Walden.
Advait Chandramouli fell 6-11, 12-14, 10-12 to Cooper Jessop in the seventh flight, and Dean Ibrahim claimed a game in the eighth flight but lost 5-11, 9-11, 11-2, 7-11 to Carlo Caffuzzi. In the ninth flight, Nevin Mital battled William Gianopulos but was defeated 7-11, 11-6, 8-11, 7-11.
In the tenth-flight exhibition, Francis Betkowski fell in straight games, 5-11, 8-11, 9-11, to Arjun Ramdas.
With the regular season concluded, the Fords now turn their attention to the second and final postseason competition of the 2025-26 season, as the College Squash Association (CSA) Divisional Team Championships begin at the National Center in Philadelphia's University City neighborhood on Friday, February 27.
