HAVERFORD, Pa. - Qianzhi Zhao was named the Liberty League Performer of the Week for men's squash for March 2. Zhao, of Suzhou, China, was instrumental in leading No. 30 Haverford to the program's first Conroy Cup title at the CSA Divisional Team Championships this past weekend. Zhao compiled a perfect 4-0 record across multiple flights, delivering pivotal victories in each of the Fords' four team matches to power a historic championship run.

In Sunday's title match against No. 29 Connecticut College, Zhao clinched the decisive fifth team point at sixth flight to secure the Conroy Cup. After dropping the opening game, he rallied with poise to claim an 8-11, 11-9, 11-9, 11-4 victory, sealing the championship triumph for Haverford.

Earlier in the tournament, Zhao showcased his resilience with a five-game comeback victory over Vassar and rebounded from a first-game setback to win in four games against Fordham. He also earned a straight-game win in the opening match versus Hobart. His consistency and ability to deliver in pressure moments were central to Haverford's 4-0 divisional record and milestone team title.

Haverford finishes the 2026 campaign with the first divisional title since a 2017 Chaffee Cup Championship. The Fords will now look forward to the release of Liberty League Postseason Awards.
