HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College men's track and field opened 2026 with a clean sweep of the Centennial Conference weekly honors, as Simon Lane and Jory Lee earned Track and Field Athletes of the Week recognition. Lane was named the Track Athlete of the Week while Lee took home Field Athlete of the Week.
Lane, a first-year from Chicago, won the 3,000 meters at the Ramapo Invitational on Friday in 8:19.60. His effort ranks 13th in Division III this season and ninth in Haverford history entering the day Monday.
Lee, a senior from New York, placed third in the triple jump at the same meet, posting a personal-best mark of 14.46 meters. The jump ranks 14th nationally this season and second in Haverford history, surpassing his previous best of 14.25 meters.
The full contingent of Haverford student-athletes will return on Saturday, January 24, for the first home meet of the season, the Seamus McElligott Invitational. Events inside Alumni Field House are slated for a 10:30 a.m. start.
