Field Hockey Announces 2025 Schedule

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College field hockey team has announced its 2025 season schedule, featuring 18 total contests, including 10 home games at Swan Field. Coming off a Centennial Conference playoff appearance in 2024, head coach Jackie Cox enters her 16th season at the helm, aiming to guide the Fords to their fourth postseason berth in the last five years.

The 2025 campaign begins at home, as the Fords host local rival Eastern on August 30 at Swan Field. Haverford then travels to Galloway, N.J., for a midweek clash with Stockton, before returning home to face Cortland on September 6 in an 11:00 a.m. start.

The first two-game road trip of the season includes matchups at TCNJ (Sept. 10) and Alvernia (Sept. 13), followed by a home stand featuring contests against Rowan (Sept. 20) and DeSales (Sept. 24).

Centennial Conference play begins on September 27, as the Scarlet and Black head to Lancaster to take on Franklin & Marshall. The road trip continues at Muhlenberg (Sept. 30), before Haverford returns home to host McDaniel (Oct. 4) and Ursinus (Oct. 8).

The Fords travel to Gettysburg on October 11 to take on the Bullets, then will head to Chestertown, Md., to face the Shorewomen of Washington College on October 15.

Haverford welcomes Dickinson to Swan Field on October 18, before a short trip up the road to take on Bi-Co rival Bryn Mawr on October 22.

The Scarlet and Black will celebrate Senior Day on October 25 with a home matchup against the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays, followed by a Wednesday night showdown at Swan Field against Hood Trophy rival Swarthmore on October 29.

Haverford wraps up the regular season at home with a non-conference contest against Ithaca on November 1. The Centennial Conference playoffs begin with the first round on November 4, with the semifinals and championship set for November 6 and 8.

All Haverford home games are streamed live via the Centennial Conference Digital Network, which is accessible online, via a mobile app, and through CC streaming apps on Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Android TV, and Roku devices.
