HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's lacrosse program has been named a 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad, leading all of NCAA Division III with the highest team GPA for the 2024–25 academic year. This prestigious distinction recognizes programs that achieve a cumulative team GPA of 3.20 or higher, and Haverford stood out among 325 institutions across Divisions I, II, III, and the NAIA for its academic performance.
In addition to the team accolades, 14 members of the Haverford College women's lacrosse team were named to the 2024–25 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll. This recognition is reserved for juniors, seniors, and graduate students who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Every single eligible student-athlete from Haverford achieved this honor, underscoring the team's dedication to academic excellence. The 14 honorees, listed alphabetically, are Abby Bonner, Alexis Brown, Annie Bravacos, Bella Gattuso, Brooke Epstein, Ellie Hughes, Eva Baumann, Jacquelyn Jardini, Kylie Kearon, Kylie McNamara, Lauren Anderson, Lauren Paprocki, Rachel Marlin, and Tiffany Mikulis.
The Fords now await the release of the IWLCA Academic Merit Squads in early August. That designation is awarded to the top team in each division with the highest team GPA for the 2024–25 academic year, a title Haverford will claim after finishing atop Division III.
On the field, Haverford Women's Lacrosse completed a historic 2025 season, finishing No. 17 in the final IWLCA Division III poll. The Fords set a program record with 15 wins and earned their first NCAA tournament victory before falling in a hard-fought 9–8 second-round matchup against No. 5 Salisbury. With key returners such as All-American Brooke Epstein and All-Region honoree Finley Jordan, Haverford is poised for another exciting postseason run in 2026.
