HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College baseball program has once again received the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.
The ABCA is proud to recognize nearly 750 high school and college programs nationwide with the 2024–25 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack. This honor is awarded to ABCA member teams across all levels of high school and collegiate baseball that achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2024–25 academic year. This year's recipients include 440 college programs and nearly 300 high school programs, all recognized for their outstanding academic achievement.
Haverford has earned this distinction every year it has been awarded. Following the 2025 season, the Fords were one of just 168 Division III programs, and one of only five from the Centennial Conference, to receive this prestigious accolade.
The American Baseball Coaches Association has a longstanding tradition of recognizing excellence among baseball coaches and student-athletes. The ABCA/Rawlings All-America Teams, established in 1949, are the nation's oldest. The ABCA also presents numerous other honors, including the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Awards, the ABCA/ATEC Regional & National Coaches of the Year awards, the ABCA Hall of Fame, and the Dave Keilitz Ethics in Coaching Award.
