PHILADELPHIA - Haverford College men's squash made the largest jump in this week's College Squash Association (CSA) Varsity Team Rankings, climbing three spots to No. 25 in the fourth weekly release announced Wednesday, Nov. 26.
The update reflects all varsity match results through Nov. 25. With the opening month of competition complete, the rankings now account for early-season form, key wins, and developing momentum across both divisions. The CSA will continue to update rankings throughout the season as teams build their résumés ahead of 2026 championship seeding.
Haverford's ascent follows a standout showing at the Vassar Round Robin, where the Fords defeated then-No. 25 St. Lawrence and No. 33 Vassar. First-year Advait Chandramouli and junior Qianzhi Zhao combined for four individual victories across the two duals, anchoring the team's surge.
Chandramouli earned Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors after posting a pair of four-game wins at the six and four positions. Zhao added two match-defining performances, securing the clinching point in the 5-4 comeback against St. Lawrence and rallying for a five-game win at No. 3 against Vassar.
The Fords have concluded competition for the 2025 portion of the schedule and return to action Jan. 16–17 at the Wesleyan/Connecticut College Round Robin. Haverford opens the weekend with a neutral-site matchup against No. 30 Denison, slated for 4 p.m. at Wesleyan.
