D'Aulerio's Top 10 Mark Highlights Widener Final Qualifier for Women's Track & Field

CHESTER, Pa. — The Haverford College women's track & field team competed at the Widener Final Qualifier Meet on Monday afternoon at Leslie Quick Jr. Stadium, as the Fords closed out the regular season with several strong performances, including multiple personal bests and a Haverford Top 10 mark competing against a nationally competitive field.

Senior Olivia D'Aulerio turned in one of the top performances of the day for the Scarlet and Black, placing 22nd in the 800 meters with a time of 2:14.52. The mark moved D'Aulerio into fifth all-time in Haverford history and to to No. 79 in Division III during the 2026 outdoor season. Senior Sophia Furman also represented Haverford in the event, crossing in 2:31.50, a new personal best. 

Junior Anastasia Jaycobs paced the Fords in the 1,500 meters, finishing 15th overall with a time of 4:35.57. Sophomore Maia Poremba followed in 4:54.57, a new personal best, while senior Jessie Hausman crossed the finish line with a personal best time of 4:55.20.  Sophomore Bianca Ortiz added a time of 5:21.95, first-year Madeline Ruchelman finished in 5:37.08, and sophomore Natalie Kruglyak recorded a time of 5:49.04. 

Sophomore Beatrice Di Girolamo qualified for the finals of the 100-meter hurdles after running 16.16 seconds, a new personal best, during the preliminaries before returning to place fifth overall in the finals with a time of 16.26 seconds.

Junior Nadine Tang competed in the 100-meter preliminaries, recording a time of 13.01 seconds. In the 400 meters, sophomore Katie Strutton crossed in 1:06.76, a new personal best, while sophomore Veronica Kanachova finished just behind in 1:08.36.

In the field events, first-year Taniya Denson continued her strong debut season with a fourth-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 3.30 meters (10 feet, 10 inches). Sophomore Taylor Allert added a mark of 4.30 meters (14 feet, 1.25 inches) in the long jump to place 13th overall.

The top 22 declared athletes and top 16 declared relay teams in each event will qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The official selection announcement is slated for Friday, May 16. The NCAA Outdoor Championships will take place from May 21-24 at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wis.
