PHILADELPHIA — The Haverford's women's 4x400-meter relay team turned in a strong showing at the 129th Penn Relays, placing fourth in the Centennial/MAC race with a season-best time of 4:00.31 at Franklin Field, good for 10th all-time in program history. Carly Priest, Devyn Telleen, Anastasia Jaycobs, and Olivia D'Aulerio combined for one of the program's fastest efforts this spring against a competitive field.
Priest led off with a 1:02.33 split to position the Scarlet and Black early, before Telleen followed with a 1:00.36 leg that moved Haverford into contention. Jaycobs continued the momentum with a 1:00.39 split, keeping the Fords within striking distance heading into the final exchange.
D'Aulerio closed in 57.24, the fastest split of the quartet, as Haverford crossed the line in fourth place with an impressive 4:00.31 finish. The time now stands as the 10th-best in program history, surpassing the previous mark of 4:00.81 set by Dominique La Grenade '25, Adriana Cruz-Soto, Jaycobs, and D'Aulerio, who captured first place in last year's Centennial/MAC race.
Johns Hopkins won the 4x400 this year, clocking a meet-record time of 3:47.74.
The Fords will now turn their attention to the three-day Centennial Conference Championships, set for Friday, May 1 at Gettysburg College. The first events of day one are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
