CHESTER, Pa. — The Haverford College women's track & field team competed at the Paul Donahue Invitational on Friday evening, highlighted by two top-10 performances in program history from Anastasia Jaycobs and Olivia D'Aulerio.
In the 800 meters elite section, Jaycobs led the Fords with a 27th-place finish in 2:15.22, ranking No. 61 in Division III this season. D'Aulerio followed closely behind in 29th place with a new personal best of in 2:15.73, maintaining the ninth best time in Haverford history.
Jaycobs also impressed in the 1500 meters elite race, finishing ninth in a personal best time of 4:34.43, moving into third all-time in Haverford history with the impressive mark.
Haverford placed multiple runners in the 5000 meters, led by Jessie Hausman, who finished 25th overall in 18:34.20, a new personal best. Grace Chen followed in 43rd place in 19:42.96. Bianca Ortiz crossed in 56th place in 20:14.95, while Audrey Carter placed 59th in 20:19.12. Keiko Chinen finished 72nd in 21:08.99, Claire Parsons was 75th in 21:15.12, securing a new personal best, Judy Xie took 81st in 22:01.05, a new personal best, and Natalie Kruglyak rounded out the Haverford finishers in 86th place in 22:52.98.
In the field events, Sarah Wilcher recorded a third-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 11.92 meters 39 feet 1.25 inches.
The Fords will continue competition at the Paul Donahue Invitational on Saturday, April 18, with events beginning at 10:00 a.m.
