HAVERFORD, Pa. - The United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA) announced the recipients of the 2026 All-Mid-Atlantic/South Region Awards on Monday morning, with the Haverford men's program represented by two student-athletes. These awards are determined based on result and field size at each of the NCAA Regional competitions.
First-year Oliver Po, of Bernardsville, N.J., delivered Haverford's top performance in men's foil at the regional meet, placing 10th overall in a highly competitive field. His finish also represented the highest placement among Division III competitors in the weapon and earned him USFCA Division III honors in addition to USFCA Honorable Mention All-Region recognition.
Also competing in men's foil, Dean Myers finished 27th overall, a result that secured him USFCA Division III recognition in the weapon for his performance at the regional championship. This is the second consecutive nomination for Myers, a sophomore from San Francisco, California.
Selections for the NCAA National Fencing Championship will be announced on Tuesday, March 10 on the NCAA website.
This year's championship is scheduled to take place at Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, from March 19 to 22. Women's competition will be held Thursday and Friday, followed by the men's events on Saturday and Sunday.
