HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's soccer team has been named a United Soccer Coaches (USC) Academic Team Award winner for the 204-25 season, the organization announced in a release on Friday afternoon.
A total of 736 soccer teams (302 men's, 434 women's) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024–25 academic year. Haverford was one of just 167 schools to have both its men's and women's programs recognized.
To be considered for the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, a team must have a composite grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for all student-athletes listed on the official NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA, or junior college roster forms for the fall season.
The Fords will begin the 2025 campaign on Friday, August 29, when they travel to Arcadia for a 4 p.m. season opener. Opening weekend continues with a trip to Susquehanna on August 31, followed by the home opener against Catholic on September 6 at 2 p.m.
