HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College women's cross country senior
Savannah Shaw has been named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team, as announced by the conference office in a release on Thursday.
A neuroscience major from Downingtown, Pa., and a graduate of Downingtown STEM Academy, Shaw has been a steady and positive influence within the Haverford program since transferring from Division I Pepperdine. Sportsmanship is one of the pillars of NCAA Division III and the Centennial Conference.
The Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify the fundamental values of respect, fairness, civility, honesty, and responsibility both on and off the field of play.
Women's Cross Country now returns to action on Saturday, November 15, at the NCAA Metro Region Championships in Logan Township, N.J. The race, which is held at the DREAM Park, is slated to begin at 12 p.m. where teams will compete for bids to the NCAA Division III National Championships in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
