NEW ORLEANS – The Haverford College women's cross country team has been recognized as a 2025 Division III All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced in a release Thursday. To earn this distinction, programs must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.10 or higher and compete in at least five meets, with a minimum of five runners representing the school at each event.
Haverford has earned the USTFCCCA Academic Team Award every year since 2007, a testament to the team's consistent academic excellence. Haverford tied for third in cumulative team GPA among Division III women's programs.
Additionally, three members of the team received individual USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors. This award recognizes student-athletes who maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 and finish in the top 25 percent at an NCAA Regional meet.
The honorees from Haverford include senior
Savannah Shaw (Downingtown, Pa.), junior
Anastasia Jaycobs (Nantucket, Mass.), and junior
Grace Chen (Carlisle, Mass.). Jacyobs and Chen repeat the honor from a season ago.
