Women's Soccer Places Six on 2025 CSC Academic All-District Squad

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Six members of the Haverford College women's soccer team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Honored for excellence on the field, in the classroom, and in the lab, Haverford's selections include Lauren Anderson, Allie Billups, Ali Dorrego, Emma Kirk, Greenley Modica, and Claire Parker. Anderson becomes a two-time Academic All-District recipient after earning the recognition in each of the last two seasons.

The Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined academic and athletic achievements. To qualify, student-athletes must be sophomores or older with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or started at least 66 percent of them.

Anderson anchored a resilient Haverford back line that allowed just 16 goals across 18 games, finishing with a 0.89 goals-against average, which ranked fourth in the Centennial Conference in her senior campaign. The Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, native started every match for the Fords and contributed three shots from her defensive post, including one on goal.

Billups, a junior from Clarksville, Maryland, appeared in 17 games between the pipes and logged five starts. She posted a 0.55 goals-against average and made a season-best eight saves against Johns Hopkins on Sept. 27.

Dorrego, a junior from Chatham, New Jersey, appeared in all 18 contests and made 12 starts. She tallied nine total shots, including five on target, and recorded a pair of on-frame attempts against Muhlenberg on Oct. 15 across 1,016 minutes.

Kirk, a junior from Wallingford, Connecticut, appeared in all 18 games with 12 starts. She scored in the win over Ursinus on Sept. 24 and added three assists for a five-point campaign.

Modica, a senior from Setauket, New York, was integral to the Fords in her final fall season, starting all 18 contests and helping to anchor a formidable back line that allowed just 0.89 goals per game.

Parker, a sophomore from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, appeared in all 18 matches and made 17 starts. She fired four shots on the year, including an on-target attempt against McDaniel on Oct. 18, while compiling 1,292 minutes.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately honors student-athletes in NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and the NAIA.
