HAVERFORD, Pa. — The Haverford College field hockey team was represented by two All-Centennial Conference selections for the 2025 season, as senior attacker/midfielder Naomi York earned All-Centennial Conference first team honors and junior attacker Erica Pardón was named to the All-Centennial Conference second team. The selections represent the second career honors for York and Pardón.
York delivered a standout senior campaign after earning Second Team recognition in 2024. The Coronado, Calif. native recorded 24 points on a team-leading 11 goals and two assists, finishing third in the conference in goals and tied for eighth in total points. She tallied 36 shots, including 22 on target, and led the team with four game-winning goals. Her season featured several marquee performances, including a one-goal, one-assist effort in the Fords' 4–2 upset victory over No. 12 Rowan on September 20, a two-goal outing against DeSales on September 24, kickstarting a five-game goal-scoring streak from September 24 through October 8.
Pardón built on her honorable mention selection from 2024 to produce a standout junior season. The Ocean Township, N.J. native led the team with 26 points—fifth-most in the conference—scoring eight goals and adding a Centennial-best 10 assists. She paced the Fords with 36 shots on goal and recorded three game-winning goals. The junior's season highlights included a five-point performance (two goals, one assist) in Haverford's 5–0 victory over Eastern on August 30, three-point efforts in wins over Stockton on September 3 and No. 12 Rowan on September 20, and the game-winning goal against Swarthmore in the First Round of the Centennial Conference Championship on November 4.
Additionally, junior goalkeeper Lindsey Darby (Darien, Conn.) was named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team. Darby appeared in one contest this season, playing 30 minutes in the 6–1 win over McDaniel on October 4 and making one save.
Franklin & Marshall's Caitlyn Hoover earned Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year, while Johns Hopkins' Jenna Halpin was named Defensive Player of the Year. Swarthmore's Annika Hoyer claimed Rookie of the Year honors, and the Dickinson coaching staff earned Coaching Staff of the Year.
The 2025 season was a historic one for Haverford field hockey. The Fords broke into the national rankings for the first time since 2021 on October 7, eventually climbing as high as No. 16 on October 21. The team recorded three ranked wins for the first time in program history and reached the Centennial Conference Semifinals for the first time since 2017, capping off a memorable and milestone-filled campaign, matching a program record with 14 wins.
