COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has announced the 2025 Collegiate National Scholars of Distinction, recognizing 1,028 outstanding undergraduate NCAA student-athletes for excellence in the classroom.

Five Haverford College student-athletes were recognized as 2025 Collegiate National Scholars of Distinction by the NFHCA, highlighted by repeat honors for Louisa Coughlin, Ava Giardino, Lily Gover and Carolina Sanchez, who each earned the distinction for the second consecutive season. Erica Pardón also secured recognition for her outstanding academic achievements after also earning the plaudit in 2023.

The NFHCA National Scholars of Distinction program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the 2025 fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

The mission of the organization is to champion, strengthen, and celebrate field hockey coaches and the game.
