COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Haverford College field hockey team was well represented on the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-Region teams, the organization announced in a release on Wednesday. Senior Naomi York took home a spot on the first team, while Erica Pardón nabbed a spot on the second team. Division III teams are separated into six regions and each of these regions recognizes up to 16 student-athletes on both the first team and second teams.
Haverford was represented for the first time since the 2022 campaign, when Olivia Ahart took home the honors. This is Haverford's most honorees since the 2021 campaign, when both Ravenel Davis and Hannah Roth took home the plaudits.
York delivered a standout senior campaign after earning all-conference designation in 2024. The Coronado, Calif. native recorded 24 points on a team-leading 11 goals and two assists, finishing third in the conference in goals and tied for eighth in total points. She tallied 36 shots, including 22 on target, and led the team with four game-winning goals.
Her season featured several marquee performances, including a one-goal, one-assist effort in the Fords' 4-2 upset victory over No. 12 Rowan on September 20, a two-goal outing against DeSales on September 24, kick-starting a five-game goal-scoring streak from September 24 through October 8.
Pardón built on her honorable mention all-conference selection from 2024 to produce a standout junior season. The Ocean Township, N.J. native led the team with 26 points, fifth-most in the conference, scoring eight goals and adding a Centennial-best 10 assists. She paced the Fords with 36 shots on goal and recorded three game-winning goals.
The junior's season highlights included a five-point performance (two goals, one assist) in Haverford's 5-0 victory over Eastern on August 30, three-point efforts in wins over Stockton on September 3 and No. 12 Rowan on September 20, and the game-winning goal against Swarthmore in the First Round of the Centennial Conference Championship on November 4.
The NFHCA Division III All-Region team announcement is the first in a list of NFHCA postseason awards over the next several weeks. Next to be announced are the NFHCA Regional Players of the Year on December 11, followed by the NFHCA All-American teams on December 16 and the NFHCA National Player of the Year on December 18.
The 2025 season was a historic one for Haverford field hockey. The Fords broke into the national rankings for the first time since 2021 on October 7, eventually climbing as high as No. 16 on October 21. The team recorded three ranked wins for the first time in program history and reached the Centennial Conference Semifinals for the first time since 2017, capping off a memorable and milestone-filled campaign, matching a program record with 14 wins.
