HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College softball program welcomed back nine alumni on Friday evening for a social gathering in the VCAM. The event offered former players the opportunity to reconnect with teammates over a catered Italian dinner, while current student-athletes engaged with alumni to learn about the diverse professional paths they have pursued beyond Haverford.
On Saturday morning, the Fords returned to Class of '95 Field for their fall play day, facing off against Arcadia University and Chestnut Hill College. Haverford dominated the day with a pair of shutout victories, 3–0 and 7–0, respectively. The pitching staff set the tone, combining for no earned runs and just two walks across both contests. Building off the weekend's strong performances, the Fords look ahead to the spring season as they prepare to open non-conference play in March.
The alumni that returned for the match were: Abby Olivier '25, Maddie Etheridge '25, Rachel McQueen '25, Susie Pieper '23, Abigail Marquis '23, Nikki Kingsland '23, Carly Parsons '23, Johanna Batterton '21, and Jessica Koshinski '18.
