HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College volleyball team has once again earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year.

The Fords were one of 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball programs to receive the honor. The award recognizes teams that maintained at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale or a 4.10 cumulative GPA on a 5.0 scale during the academic year.

Haverford was one of 233 NCAA Division III programs recognized and joined fellow Centennial Conference members Bryn Mawr, Dickinson, Franklin & Marshall, Gettysburg, Johns Hopkins, McDaniel, Muhlenberg, and Swarthmore in earning the award.

The Fords also received AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll distinction, which recognizes programs whose team GPAs ranked among the top 20 percent nationally within their respective divisions. Haverford joined Gettysburg, Johns Hopkins, and Swarthmore as the four Centennial Conference programs represented on the NCAA Division III Honor Roll.

On the court, volleyball concluded the 2025 season with a 19-9 record, marking the program's most wins since the 2021 team finished 24-6. The Fords posted a 7-3 conference record, highlighted by a victory over No. 7 Johns Hopkins on Senior Day and a home sweep of rival Swarthmore. The Fords also hosted the first round of the Centennial Conference Tournament for the first time since 2019 and advanced to the conference semifinals for the first time since 2021.
