HAVERFORD, Pa. – A total of 12 Haverford College student-athletes have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon. The honor recognizes student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through excellence both in competition and in the classroom.
Haverford's six women's honorees included field hockey's Erica Pardón and Naomi York, women's lacrosse student-athletes Lauren Anderson and Brooke Epstein, and fencers Nina Chafee and Carter Wood. On the men's side, the Fords were represented by fencers Eric Chen, Michael Pyo, and Dean Myers, along with men's lacrosse teammates Antonin Hoppmann-Salario, Reid Tietjen, and Ronan West.
Four Haverford student-athletes earned CSC Academic All-District recognition for the second consecutive season, as Epstein, Chen, Pardon, and Pyo each repeated as honorees. In addition, Chen was selected to advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot for the second straight year after earning the plaudit a season ago. Anderson and Epstein also advanced to the national voting process, earning consideration for Academic All-America® honors through their combined academic and athletic achievements.
The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes across NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA competition. Academic All-District® honorees are eligible for advancement to the Academic All-America® ballot, with finalists selected through a nationwide vote of CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® selections will be announced July 7-8.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District® honors, undergraduate student-athletes must be at least sophomores academically and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Student-athletes must also satisfy sport-specific participation requirements based on games played, starts, lineup appearances, or conference championship participation.
