The No. 30 Haverford College men's squash team went an impressive 2-0 on day one of the 2026 College Squash Association (CSA) Divisional Team Championships at the Specter Center in Philadelphia. The Fords earned a pair of 6-3 victories, defeating No. 33 Hobart in the afternoon before topping No. 32 Vassar in the evening.

In the fourth flight, Kai Schinaman highlighted the, as he outlasted Peter Vorbach in a five-game battle, 11-5, 10-12, 11-8, 8-11, 11-9, showcasing poise in the decisive frame to claim one of three five-game victories for the Fords. Jet Li followed suit at fifth flight, grinding past Gabriel Garcia, 11-7, 11-9, 10-12, 11-13, 11-5, in a 44-minute marathon that swung momentum back toward Haverford.
The Scarlet and Black were dominant in the middle and lower portions of the ladder. Qianzhi Zhao delivered a clinical 13-11, 11-3, 11-5 triumph over Mason Graham at sixth flight, while Advait Chandramouli was emphatic at seventh flight, conceding just five total points in an 11-1, 11-4, 11-0 rout of Miles Mackey. Dean Ibrahim added a four-game victory at eighth flight, rebounding after dropping the opener to defeat Jayden Saldana, 7-11, 11-2, 11-2, 11-9. Francis Betkowski capped the scoring at ninth flight with a decisive 11-4, 11-4, 11-4 win against Billy Gantcher.
Hobart claimed the top three flights, as Caio Paiva edged Aaryaman Jaising in five games at first flight, 9-11, 11-7, 11-2, 10-12, 7-11. Adam Le topped Henry Jiang, 11-4, 11-5, 11-6, at second flight, and Javier De La Vega defeated Ben Levy, 11-8, 11-6, 3-11, 11-7, at third flight.

The Fords were dominant in the lower flights, sweeping ninth through sixth. Arvin Krishnan set the tone with an 11-3, 12-10, 11-1 win over Joseph Donato at ninth flight. Francis Betkowski followed at eighth with an 11-3, 11-2, 11-7 victory against Alexander Thorn, while Dean Ibrahim controlled play at seventh, dispatching Julian Cardenas, 11-3, 11-6, 11-3. Advait Chandramouli continued the run at sixth flight, topping Razaan Lalji, 11-5, 11-6, 11-5.
In the middle of the ladder, Qianzhi Zhao delivered a clutch five-game triumph over Gabriel Lugo at fifth flight, rebounding from a first-game loss to prevail, 3-11, 15-13, 11-6, 7-11, 11-4, in a match that lasted just under an hour. Kai Schinaman matched that intensity at third flight, edging Kyle Benson in a tightly contested battle, 11-7, 11-5, 8-11, 11-13, 12-10.
Vassar picked up points at fourth and second flights, as Aqeel Merchant outlasted Jet Li, 11-6, 11-9, 12-14, 14-12, and Matthew Okulski turned back Ben Levy, 1-11, 11-6, 12-10, 11-9.
At the top of the ladder, Konstantinos Georgallides defeated Aaryaman Jaising in a 59-minute five-game contest, 11-9, 10-12, 11-5, 7-11, 11-2.
The Fords will travel back to the Specter Center on Saturday, February 28, to continue Conroy Cup Round Robin play with a 6 p.m. matchup against No. 31 Fordham.
