ATLANTA – The Haverford College women's basketball team has once again been honored for its excellence in the classroom, earning special mention on the 2024-25 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division III Academic Top 25 Honor Roll, as announced Tuesday afternoon. This marks the fourth consecutive season that Haverford has earned this recognition.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 highlights programs across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, as well as NAIA and two-year colleges, that have achieved the highest combined team GPAs, including all rostered student-athletes, for the full academic year. The 2024-25 season represents the 30th year of the WBCA compiling these prestigious academic honor rolls.
This year's release also continues the WBCA's recent initiative of recognizing all programs that met the Top 25 minimum GPA threshold of 3.0 for their outstanding academic achievement. In March, six members of the Haverford women's basketball team were named to the Centennial Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll: Brianna Feifer, Audrey Jakway, Shae Mercer, Caroline Orza, Abby Ryan, and Lily Zawisny all received conference academic distinction for their performance both on the court and in the classroom.
