HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College baseball team (14-12, 3-6 CC) dropped a Centennial Conference doubleheader to third-ranked Johns Hopkins (27-3, 8-1 CC) on Sunday afternoon at Kannerstein Field. The Blue Jays took the opener by a 12-7 final before winning game two 19-6 in seven innings.
Senior infielder Harry Genth had a monster day at the plate, tallying four hits, four runs, three home runs (including a grand slam), eight RBIs, and two stolen bases. Genth is now Haverford's single-season home run leader, breaking Ben Einbinder's 2007 record as he now has 13 round-trippers on the season. Genth also tied the program's career mark for runs scored with 163, matching Ethan Lee-Tyson '19.
