Full Centennial Conference Release
HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College women's basketball senior captain Siena Emuobor (Raleigh, N.C. / Ravenscroft School) has been named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship team, the conference office announced in its annual postseason awards release on Wednesday morning.
Sportsmanship is one of the pillars of NCAA Division III and the Centennial Conference. The Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify the fundamental values of respect, fairness, civility, honesty, and responsibility both on and off the field of play.
A two-year team captain of a young Fords squad, Emuobor has been a steady presence for the program throughout her career. Over her career, she has played in 61 games for the Fords, logging 24 total starts. Emuobor average 4.2 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, and 0.7 blocks per contest for Haverford.
Off the court, Emuobor has exemplified leadership and dedication to the Haverford community. She has served as a representative on the Senior Athletic Awards Committee, contributing to the recognition of her fellow student-athletes. Additionally, she has been an active member of the campus community, working on the library staff.
A political science major with a minor in health studies, she has balanced her academic and athletic commitments while demonstrating the leadership values that this honor represents.
