HAVERFORD, Pa. – The third-seeded Haverford College volleyball team is headed to the Centennial Conference semifinals for the first time since 2021 after outlasting sixth-seeded Dickinson in a thrilling five-set battle (25-16, 18-25, 23-25, 25-17, 15-10) on Wednesday night at Gooding '84 Arena.
The victory also marked the program's first postseason win in four years, as the Fords delivered a balanced, resilient performance against the Red Devils to advance in the tournament.
Haverford will now travel to Lancaster, Pa., on Friday, November 14 to take on second-seeded Franklin & Marshall at the Mayser Center. The Diplomats enter the semifinal with a 21-5 record and a 9-1 mark in conference play after securing a first-round bye.
