HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College first-year Charles Sharp has been named Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week after a five-point performance that helped the Fords remain unbeaten and tie the longest unbeaten streak in program history at 16 consecutive matches.
Sharp was instrumental in Haverford's 2-0 week, starting with Wednesday's 6-0 victory over Farmingdale State, where he scored two goals, including the eventual game-winner. He followed that up on Saturday by assisting on the game's only goal, scored by classmate Aiden Lee, in a 1-0 win over McDaniel.
The undefeated Fords now prepare for a key conference matchup against No. 24 Muhlenberg on Wednesday at 4 p.m. on Walton Field.
