GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Haverford College men's tennis team won its third consecutive Centennial Conference match with a 6-3 victory at Gettysburg College Saturday afternoon.
Haverford picked up doubles victories at the top-two spots. Kevin Caulfield and Danny Himelstein downed Terry Keegan and Sebastian Rodriguez, 8-2, at No. 1. Will Garrett and Hailiu Yang disposed of Chris Curran and Kevin Raynes at the No. 2 spot by an 8-4 count.
In singles, Caulfield picked up a straight set win at No. 1. Garrett followed Caulfield's lead at the No. 3 position. Natty Sergay found himself down 0-1 after the first set at No. 4, but he went on to win the next two sets. Jacob Weisenthal won in straight sets at No. 6.
The Fords improve to 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the conference. Gettysburg drops to 6-6 on the season and 1-4 in the Centennial.
Haverford returns home Wednesday to host Muhlenberg College at 3:30 p.m.
