Haverford College

Justin Minerva ’25 returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach for the Haverford College men’s tennis team ahead of the 2025 season.

A four-year standout for the Fords, Minerva graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. During his career, he was a two-time Centennial Conference First Team Doubles selection, a Centennial Conference Second Team Doubles honoree, and a member of the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Team. He also earned recognition on the East-COMM Honor Roll, was a three-time ITA Scholar-Athlete, a three-time CSC All-District Team selection, and a four-time ITA All-Academic Team honoree.

In 2025, Minerva served as team captain, where he played a vital role in fundraising efforts and mentoring younger teammates both on and off the court. Under his leadership, the Scarlet and Black climbed to a program-best No. 16 national ranking, secured their first NCAA Tournament berth since 1996, and captured the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament victory.

Minerva currently resides in Bala Cynwyd, Pa.
