The inductees, Thomas Glasser ’82, Tamara Rice Lave ’90, Jennifer Constantino ’04, and Tom Donnelly, will be formally honored on Friday, May 29 during a ceremony as part of Alumni Weekend on campus.

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford College Athletics is proud to announce the Class of 2026 for the Thomas Glasser '82 Hall of Achievement. The inductees, Thomas Glasser '82, Tamara Rice Lave '90, Jennifer Constantino '04, and Tom Donnelly, will be formally honored on Friday, May 29 during a ceremony as part of Alumni Weekend on campus.

Thomas Glasser '82 remains one of Haverford's most versatile athletes. A four-year member of the men's cross country and track & field programs, he helped lead the cross country team to multiple top-two MAC finishes and regional championships. On the track, Glasser excelled in sprints, middle-distance events, jumps, and relays, earning the Ernest F. Walton Cup as team MVP in his junior and senior seasons and helping Haverford capture two indoor MAC championships. He set school records in the 600-yard, sprint medley relay, and numerous other events, many of which still stand. Internationally, Glasser won gold in the 4x400-meter relay at the 1981 Maccabiah Games in Israel. A recipient of the Varsity Cup as the outstanding athlete in his class, Glasser later pursued a philosophy-driven life with professional success on Wall Street, while raising a family. He tragically passed in the September 11 attacks, and the Hall of Achievement's name honors his legacy of athletic excellence, leadership, and character.

Tamara Rice Lave '90 was a pioneer for Haverford's women's cross country and track & field programs. A member of the College's first three varsity cross country teams, she earned three consecutive first-team All-MAC honors and captured back-to-back Mideast Regional championships in 1988 and 1989. Lave was a two-time NCAA All-American in cross country, placing 11th in 1989, and also earned All-America honors in track & field with an eighth-place finish in the 10,000 meters at the 1990 NCAA Championships. She set school records in the 3,000, 5,000, and 10,000 meters that still rank among the program's best. Beyond Haverford, Lave represented the United States internationally, including at the 2003 World Championships in the marathon, and placed 19th at the 2000 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials. She earned a law degree from Stanford and a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and is currently a law professor at the University of Miami, where she teaches and mentors students while contributing influential scholarship on criminal law, policing, and campus sexual misconduct.

Jennifer Constantino '04 is one of the most decorated athletes in Haverford volleyball history. A four-year starter and senior captain, she helped lead the Fords to the Centennial Conference semifinals all four seasons, compiling a 92-38 record, including a 30-win season in 2000. Constantino earned four first-team All-Conference selections, two AVCA all-region honors, and CoSIDA Academic All-America recognition in 2003. She still ranks first in Haverford history in kills (1,685), kills per set (4.02), total points (1,921.5), and points per set (4.59), while holding multiple single-season records. She was pivotal in Haverford's first Seven Sisters Championship in 2003, earning tournament co-MVP honors. Following her collegiate career, Constantino earned her J.D. from Villanova University, coached at multiple universities, and later pursued a career in law focused on advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and child welfare, while remaining engaged with higher education as an adjunct professor. Her sustained excellence on and off the court makes her a natural Hall of Achievement honoree.

Tom Donnelly retired in 2023 after an extraordinary 49-year tenure as Haverford's head coach of men's cross country and track & field. Over nearly five decades, he guided the Fords to 77 conference championships and coached 276 championship teams, highlighted by the cross country program's first NCAA Division III team title in 2010. Donnelly's athletes achieved 176 All-America honors, including 29 individual NCAA champions and a national champion relay team. His teams qualified for the NCAA Championships in each of his final 28 seasons, earning nine national podium finishes and multiple top-10 national rankings. A 2014 USTFCCCA Hall of Fame inductee, Donnelly shaped generations of student-athletes, emphasizing excellence, sportsmanship, and personal growth. A former All-American at Villanova, he fostered student success both on and off the course. His legacy extends through his family as well, including sons Patrick '09, a Haverford alumnus and AI engineer, and Edward, a University of Pennsylvania graduate and photojournalist. Donnelly's impact on Haverford athletics is unmatched, making him a cornerstone of the Hall of Achievement.
