Women's Basketball Releases 2026-2027 Schedule

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's basketball team has announced its 2026-27 schedule, highlighted by a challenging non-conference slate, a late-December trip to California and a competitive Centennial Conference campaign. The Fords are slated for 25 regular-season contests, including 12 home games inside Gooding '84 Arena.

The 2026-27 campaign marks a new era for Haverford women's basketball as Andre Gibbs begins his first season at the helm of the Scarlet and Black. Gibbs will look to establish his vision for the program while guiding the Fords through a challenging schedule that features a strong non-conference slate and a competitive Centennial Conference race.

The season officially tips off Nov. 8 with a challenging road matchup against NYU in New York City. Haverford then returns to Gooding '84 Arena for its home opener against Stockton (Nov. 10), beginning a three-game homestand that also features St. Joseph's (Long Island) (Nov. 14) and Penn State Berks (Nov. 18).

The Fords close out November with a trip to Neumann (Nov. 24) before turning their attention to Centennial Conference play in early December.

Haverford opens its conference slate at home against neighboring Bryn Mawr (Dec. 2) before traveling to Dickinson (Dec. 5) for its first road conference matchup of the season. The Scarlet and Black then briefly return to non-conference action, welcoming Penn State Abington (Dec. 9) before visiting Immaculata (Dec. 12).

Following a short holiday break, the Fords head west for a two-game California road trip to conclude the calendar year. Haverford opens the trip against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Dec. 28) before facing Pomona-Pitzer (Dec. 30), providing a pair of challenging non-conference tests against West Coast competition.

The Fords ring in 2027 back on their home court, hosting Penn State Brandywine (Jan. 2) in their final non-conference matchup of the regular season before returning to Centennial Conference competition.

Haverford begins the new year in conference play with consecutive road contests at Muhlenberg (Jan. 6) and Gettysburg (Jan. 9). The Scarlet and Black then return to Gooding '84 Arena for the first installment of the Hood Trophy rivalry against Swarthmore (Jan. 13).

The Fords continue their January slate with a trip to McDaniel (Jan. 16) before welcoming Ursinus (Jan. 20) for Senior Varsity Blanket Night. Haverford remains at home for two additional conference matchups, hosting Washington College (Jan. 23) and Franklin & Marshall (Jan. 27) to close out the month.

As February arrives, Haverford makes the short trip to Bryn Mawr (Feb. 3) before returning home to face Johns Hopkins (Feb. 6). The Fords then head to Chestertown, Md., for a road contest against Washington College (Feb. 10).

The Scarlet and Black return to Gooding '84 Arena for their home finale against Muhlenberg (Feb. 13), a contest that will also serve as Senior Day and Alumni Day, providing an opportunity to recognize the program's graduating student-athletes and welcome former Fords back to campus.

Haverford concludes the regular season with a pair of road contests, traveling to Ursinus (Feb. 17) before making the short trip to Swarthmore (Feb. 20) for the second installment of the Hood Trophy rivalry.

The postseason begins shortly thereafter, with the Centennial Conference Tournament set to open with first-round action on Feb. 23. The semifinals follow on Feb. 26, with the conference championship game scheduled for Feb. 28.

All Haverford home games are streamed live via the Centennial Conference Digital Network. Fans can also access the digital network through a customized mobile app, online or via Centennial Conference streaming applications for Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Android TV and Roku devices.
