Haverford continues its academic legacy, having won the overall Scholar Team of the Year award three times (2007, 2010, 2011) and earning the All-Academic Team designation every year since the award's inception in 1996.
To be considered an All-Academic Team, a program must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.10 or higher through the institution's most recent grading period. In addition to the team award, six members of the Haverford men's cross country team were named All-Academic athletes for the 2025 season: Owen Bluman (Pittsburgh, Pa.), Luke de Valpine (Berkeley, Calif.), Micah Lachman (Bethesda, Md.), Simon Lane (Chicago, Ill.), Jakob Maiwald (Chapel Hill, N.C.), and Torin Pelton-Flavin (Newton, Mass.). De Valpine and Maiwald both repeat the honor from last season.
To earn All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
