HAVERFORD, Pa. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Track & Field and Cross Country Academic All-District teams on Tuesday, with five members of the Haverford women's program earning inclusion for the 2024–25 honors.
To be eligible for Academic All-District accolades, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have recorded a top-50 performance in the region in an individual event, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Haverford seniors Reza Eshghi, Seamus Fraser, Peter LaRochelle and Reed Solomon joined sophomore Luke de Valpine in earning the honor this season. Eshghi and LaRochelle were selected to advance to the Academic All-America ballot, with voting among CSC members scheduled to open this week.
Eshghi, an economics major, capped a decorated collegiate career in 2025 with a national runner-up finish and first-team All-America honors in the indoor 3,000 meters. A three-time All-American, he also earned second-team recognition in the mile and 1,500 meters in 2024 and the 5,000 meters in 2025. Eshghi was named the 2025 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year and received the Gregory Kannerstein '63 Award, Haverford's second-highest senior athletic honor.
A dominant presence across multiple events, the Lincoln, Mass., native earned first-team All-Centennial Conference honors in the distance medley relay in 2023 and in the mile, 1,500 and 5,000 meters in 2024. He repeated as champion in the mile, 1,500 and 3,000 meters in 2025. Eshghi was a consistent USTFCCCA All-Metro Region honoree in the mile, 1,500, 3,000 and 5,000 meters from 2023 through 2025, and also collected USTFCCCA All-Metro Region and All-Academic honors for cross country in 2024. He was a two-time NCAA qualifier in cross country, earning second-team All-Centennial honors in 2024.
Also a standout in the classroom, the economics major earned CSC Academic All-District recognition in three consecutive years across both track and cross country, and received Haverford's Ambler Scholar-Athlete Award for maintaining one of the top 15 GPAs among senior student-athletes. He was named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll in six different seasons and was a five-time Centennial Track Athlete of the Week.
LaRochelle, a senior mathematics major from Great Barrington, Mass., capped an exceptional career with second-team All-America honors in the 10,000 meters in 2025. A consistent force in distance events, he earned first-team All-Centennial honors in the 10,000 that same year, with additional second-team selections in the 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 meters throughout his career. LaRochelle was a USTFCCCA All-Region performer in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters from 2023 to 2025, and collected All-Metro Region accolades in both indoor and outdoor events during that span.
In cross country, LaRochelle was a three-time NCAA qualifier and earned back-to-back USTFCCCA All-America honors in 2023 and 2024, also claiming Metro Region Runner of the Year and individual titles in both seasons. He was a three-time first-team All-Centennial selection and a regular All-Region honoree, while also earning Centennial Scholar-Athlete of the Year and two Athlete of the Week nods in 2023. Academically, he was a CSC Academic All-American and Academic All-District pick in 2023–24, a two-time PhillySIDA Academic All-Area selection (including Performer of the Year in 2023), and a four-time USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree. He appeared on the Centennial Academic Honor Roll every year from 2022 through 2025.
Fraser, an Environmental Studies major of Port Townsend, Wash., distinguished himself in both cross country and track and field. A two-time USTFCCCA All-Region honoree in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (2024, 2025), he also earned All-Centennial accolades in three seasons, including second-team honors in 2025. In cross country, Fraser was an NCAA qualifier and first-team All-Centennial selection in 2023, with USTFCCCA All-Region honors in both 2023 and 2024. A consistent academic standout, he earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, PhillySIDA Academic All-Area recognition and appeared on the Centennial Academic Honor Roll across multiple seasons.
Solomon, an English major from Lexington, Mass., has been recognized for his academic and athletic excellence in both cross country and track and field. A three-time Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll honoree in both the fall and spring, he was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for cross country (2023–24) and track (2024). Solomon earned Ambler Scholar-Athlete honors in 2025 and was selected to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team for track in 2025.
De Valpine, a sophomore from Berkeley, Calif., placed 36th at the 2024 NCAA Regional Championships and earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors that same year. He was named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for both the fall and winter seasons during the 2024–25 academic year.
The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes track and field/cross country honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Select Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 15.
