LOS ANGELES – The Haverford College softball team's scheduled doubleheader at Occidental College on Wednesday was canceled due to some mid-March rain in the Los Angeles area. The Fords had jumped out to a strong start in game one, building a 4-0 lead in the first inning without an out recorded when the game was called due to unsafe playing conditions.

Despite the setback, Haverford will return to action tomorrow with a split doubleheader at Whittier College in Whittier, California. The Fords are set to face the host Poets at 11 a.m. Pacific before taking on No. 3-ranked Case Western Reserve at approximately 1:30 p.m. Pacific.
