Volleyball Finishes Neumann Knights Invitational

ASTON, Pa. – The Haverford College volleyball team wrapped up the Neumann Knights Invitational today by falling to the Scranton Royals 3-2 and the Neumann Knights 3-1. Haverford finished the tournament 1-3.

Haverford extended the match vs. Scranton after being down 2-1 by winning the fourth set, but the Royals came up with a victory in the deciding fifth stanza (21-25, 25-23, 15-25, 25-19, 11-15). The host Knights defeated the Fords 3-1 in the final match of the tournament.

Head coach Michele Benoit's team had its record fall to 5-5 on the year. Haverford will head to Cabrini on Wednesday before a dual match next Saturday against Messiah and the host conference rival Dickinson.
