ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The season came to a close Wednesday for the Haverford College's women's tennis team as the Fords fell to host Muhlenberg College, 5-0, in the opening round of the 2011 Centennial Conference tournament.

Haverford (13-7) dropped each of the three doubles matches to open play which put the Mules (10-5) just two singles wins away from a match victory.

The Mules picked up those two singles wins with straight-set victories in first, the No. 5 and then the clincher in the third flight to advance to the semifinal round.
