Will Lawlor joined the Haverford College men’s lacrosse staff as an assistant coach in January 2026, bringing a diverse background across NCAA and MCLA programs with experience as a head coach, coordinator, and recruiter.
Lawlor comes to Haverford after three seasons as head coach at Delaware Valley University, where he guided the Aggies to 15 total wins and steady program growth. During his tenure, DelVal earned five victories in 2024, highlighted by a MAC Freedom win over FDU-Florham, and set a program record with 24 goals and 28 points in a single game against Centenary. In 2023, Lawlor led the Aggies to six wins and coached multiple All-MAC Freedom Second Team selections.
Prior to Delaware Valley, Lawlor spent two seasons as a full-time assistant coach at Lebanon Valley College, where he played a key role in recruiting 36 student-athletes and developing four all-conference performers. The Dutchmen improved from two wins in 2020 to eight victories by the conclusion of his tenure. He also served as head coach of Northern Arizona University in the MCLA, leading the Lumberjacks to the 2019 SLC-II Championship and the program’s first appearance at MCLA Nationals.
Lawlor’s collegiate coaching career includes stops at Alvernia University, where he served as offensive coordinator, faceoff coach, and interim head coach, as well as the University of Arizona, where he worked as offensive coordinator and faceoff coach at the MCLA level. He began his coaching career at the high school level with experience at Pope John Paul II and Lower Merion High School.
A native of St. Davids, Pa., Lawlor graduated from Rosemont College in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in communications after transferring from Ohio Wesleyan University. A two-year starter for the Ravens, he set single-game program records for assists (7) and points (9) and earned the CSAC Sportsmanship Award in 2014. Lawlor is a graduate of Radnor High School, where he competed in lacrosse at the state level.
