Ray Rodriguez - Title IX Coordinator

Ray Rodriguez

Mr. Ray  Rodriguez serves as the Director of Civil Rights and the Title IX Coordinator here at Haverford College.  He received his Master of Public Health degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Public Health in 2014.  Mr. Rodriguez has served as an administrator in various leadership roles at multiple colleges and universities, most recently as the Senior Director over Title IX and related civil rights at both Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) in Provo, Utah, and at the University of Illinois Springfield.  Ray is also a current doctoral candidate (Ph.D., Health Sciences, Emphasis in Health Promotion and Wellness) at RMU, and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach since 2019.  

Ray’s professional interests include broadening access to and support for marginalized populations within higher education, including aspects of sex, disability, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, faith, and age.  He is a long-time member of the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) and works within his local and national community on initiatives that support an equitable world.  Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, when not working, Ray travels extensively and enjoys science fiction, Walt Disney World, being a foodie, enjoying renaissance fairs and tabletop RPGs, and spending time with his partner, their two children, and their dog.
